One corner raised bed filled with bits of plastic this and that – some touched up a little with blobs of paint; (the leafage is from an aquarium fixture and the little floral clumps are/were yellow bushes but have cut them down to size).

One bought in hydrangea in half barrel, one purchased kit for a climbing hydrangea and a couple of nasturtium kits to throw in a bit of orange.

One garden gate which probably needs more work on it and, sometime when the front street has been done, I’ll throw in some bits of grass/moss and earth where weeding needs doing. I’m pretty sure that those hinges are on the wrong face of the gate but there they stay, if only to add a little something 🙂
Also thinking in terms of a child’s toy such as a scooter or similar.
Have a lingering fancy to stick a toy in the garden gate, but am still thinking about that.

Wrongly hinged or not, that gate does give a nice shadow

Pavement/footpath needed in front of the wall now?

The two pieces of house are slightly gapped here as don’t want to accidentally stick ’em together and am not certain that everything is dry yet!

and looks, on the photos, as though it has a bit of a case of jaundice!  (Will leave it for a day or two and reassess that colouring.)

However the front wall is in

Time to dress the space

Contemplating a bit of planting-up at the far end of the space – corner flower or shrub bed is a possibility.  Or, goodness knows, possibly a bit of that with some further nasturtium used as under planting that flows over the edge of a raised bed to match the semi-climbing one in the pot????
