Smaller than 1:24 bigger than 1:48

Still working with the trinket box on and off today and have finally seen sense.  If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it is probably a duck.  In this case the box looks Tudor to Jacobean in style so, on the duck principle (though the box does not make any particular noise, you’ll be pleased to know) it should be declared to be a scene set somewhere in the early 1600s – probably.

Gone for panelling and plastered ceiling

The pieces are tightly fitted so, up to now, they do not need fixing in place.  Having a bit of an argument with the floorboard sheet which will not sit flat so a blob of Museum Wax might come in handy there.

As you can see from the not yet cleaned up ruler, this would be a very low room if it is 1:24. Not sure what it would work out at.
