Some vague look of depth of water on the false bottom of the tank arrived at after four or five layers of Triple Gloss with paint washes and splashes sandwiched between and topped off with a final Triple Gloss coating.

Guess what, this week the water supply mechanism failed here in the village – again.  It’s fixed once more (we hope) and last night there was rain which, thankfully, has brought down the temperature a little.
