Warning: prickly person tucked up
At this time of year I am most like a hedgehog: I sleep, snore very loudly, emerge from time to time to stock up on food and other stimuli and trundle about, wrapped round and round in layers of this and that.
On the vaguely human side
Emerging, blinking into the light of the new year (and a belated Healthy, Happy and Peaceful one to you all) I sat at the computer and got around to ordering some of the things I can’t make for the bathroom etc and decided it was definitely about time to shake a leg and get on with that sitting room and get it out of the way once and for all.
A very good intention, so, orders made, I went back to sleep to have another think about it.
The sitting room – things to do:
Sort out the woodwork,
and dress them.
- Once cleaned, wax corners of the carpet to ‘fix’ and ditto with the three-piece suite. Probably later as like playing with details.
- Unearth the vases, photos, and general knick-knacks to be dotted around and about. Frame the photos if they’re going to be used.
- Crochet or stitch pieces of lace for placing on the furniture. Best decide on a small able first.
- Work out a way for the dog’s tea-party to work and try to set it up. Think I might add a figure here after all.
Lots to do so I’d better make a start, but first I’ll just curl up for a little snooze …
snuffle, snuffle, snore, snore.
