It’s the small jobs that take the time?

Standard

Moving things along so can really get to the remaining internal spaces and then have a go at the outer face, but there’s plenty of jobs to do first.

They are various and today’s challenge was to make the fourth wall for the boys’ bedroom.

Copying the dining room fourth wall layout, (lower half of photo) this time with a bought in, original watercolour painting.  As the other pictures in this bedroom have a basic frame I needed to mock one up to more or less match with them though I went for a lighter shade for the wood.

View through the bedroom window of the first offering up of the wall to the rest of the room – hump of blanket tent at the bottom of the picture 😉

There’s just a little more fiddling to do with this and then it’s the checking of the wallheads to see if they are reasonably level so ceilings can go on I think.
