Take the paste brush in your left hand
Re-motivation has been a little lacking of late but with a push from behind the decorating is mostly done and it’s time to put everything in place.
On your marks, get set
This room seems to have a pseudo Enid Blyton Famous Five manner and I can’t seem to influence it much. I imagine the two young boys probably look as if they’ve come straight out of an illustration from one of the books, though I see them as being younger than those characters. So be it; its personality has definitely moved out of my control.
Couldn’t quite recall how I’d wanted to place the rugs but here goes.
The flooring flap/cover on the right will be under the chest of drawers but it gives access to the button for the battery LED in the dining room fire below
Starting at the back end of things I’ve added some of the finishing touches
Here we have one hanging dressing gown. It’s possible the other brother may still be wearing his.
Here, after hacking off the roof pieces from the standard wooden train, I’ve added a couple of N gauge figures in the slots revealed by my vandalism
There are books and pictures in place along with the electric fire and a clock
Overall what we have so far is this. (The train may yet go somewhere else in here)
The beds need dressing, the door finishing off and putting in place while the tent and further adornments have to be added to bring a little more life to the room.
