but going for the practical, nevertheless

There’s a big empty area of carpet I’m thinking about but at last there are curtains in and it’s mostly done
However …
- Once I’d glued up the pelmet and parked the pieces of the house together,
- not only is there no room to open the wardrobe, but the bedside table and door are in each other’s way 🙂
No fourth wall
Losing a wall to put the larger furniture against is always a problem and, as you don’t want the back of the bed in your face when viewing the room, I can’t really put the bed with its foot at the fireplace. As it happens the room would need to be a little deeper so that the foot of the bed wouldn’t be actually in the hearth, but you get the idea.
As the room is really viewed as seen in the top image, the door and bedside clash doesn’t come in to it all the time. It’s going to ‘have to do’ as I reckon that’s the best place for the bed to go in this shape of room.
- Large lamp (darkened the base) and a book that possibly has the wrong cover
- Carpets galore and saggy window nets
- Dress draped over the screen
-
So much on this dressing table!
Nice multiple reflections though
- and another one here shot through the window into the room
- A further shot of impossible door and bedside taken through window

No ceiling yet so can still get this shot
Just realised I’ve not added the framed photo to the mantlepiece harumph
