Sideboard glue time

A small operating dilemma:  the top half of this construction is curved;  strip wood does not curve willingly.  Avoided the issue by using lots of different materials to get ‘around’ it 😉

As you can see I used a variety of solutions. The trim at top long curved edge is foamboard and the woodwork for the two curved side doors is cardboard. The cotton cord is added here and there, both on the very top and where the new bit meets the base cabinet

Overall, although it’s very light coloured, I think it will go with the bookcase and desk that have yet to be added.
