Window building or building windows?

Quick report between coats of paint

and making glazing bars

Moving on with the bay windows and still not entirely sure if it’s going anywhere but it does keeps me out of mischief.

Picking up where we last left it:

theinfill dolls house blog Hogepotche Hall –Hodgepodge Hall - a Medieval, Tudor, Jacobean dolls house blog - reshaping an Deco house - single curve bay window

and begun the glazing which is going to take some time I think

The window panes have supports for the glazing at the back but each will need a couple of glazing bars either side to hold them at the front.  Just painted very, very thin wood strip white to do that with.  So thin it was like trying to paint a floppy spring as it wanted to bend all over the place.

The second window is undergoing a first bending process and we’ll see if it still matches its partner tomorrow all being well.

    • Hi there. It’s a cardboard core with wood and other stuff on it. I think there’s pics in previous posts. Am doing the second one now and hope it will come out more or less the same but am using some fine strips of wood that I’ve steam bent and dried in shape to cover the card on the curve on this second one 🙂
