The workers need equipment

Make some, buy some

Having played with cupolas and decided I wasn’t having any, I’ve backed tracked and am going with just the central, back one.  It’s been updated yet again and, whilst it’s drying I took inventory of what equipment I’ve hoarded for the 1:12 workers.

Hammers, adze-like bits and axes I’ve got but there’s a need for at least one block and tackle or plain pulley, so that’s what I’ve been doing this afternoon.

Some balsa shaped into the pulley and placed on a toothpick spindle. The blocks vary: one is obeche and the other balsa again. Hooks and hanging loops are florists’ wire and of course that’s parcel string as rope.  I’m thinking there’s equipment and tarpaulin to be hoisted up and debris and possibly tree bits to be bagged and lowered down.  Now we need ladders.
