Getting at the space

Having got it I decided to use it

Back story to the space:  in building the attic a space sort of turned up between the middle room and the one on the right and it was not expected.  I daubed it with this and that over the odd bit of woven thin card and made a rough and unfinished wall look on one wall.

Part of the planning of the Red Bed room involved a very lovely bought in chair placed against the wall left front(ish) and I commented somewhere that it was not for the moving;  this is the tale of why.

The other wall

It’s not as detailed in its finish but now it’s getting there more or less.

Panel to what?

Closer look at the clogs, shaped out of balsa with leather straps. I’ve fixed them to the side stretcher of the chair. The whole arrangement has its own bit of extra flooring to hold chair and its etcs together with the panel as it opens.

The panels need further work and sealing but I think this bit now needs leaving well alone – for the moment.
